Visiting a hospital emergency room can be a lengthy and costly experience, but not here at Advanced Orthopedics New England! We now have three Orthopedic Urgent Care facilities, conveniently located in Enfield, and now Vernon, as well, to take care of your injuries and orthopedic needs. Walk right in! No appointment necessary, but please call before visiting if possible at (860) 728-6740.

When you visit our Orthopedic Urgent Care facilities, our orthopedic specialty doctors treat you with  an individualized treatment plan designed to promote fast and lasting healing. You can expect a friendly, caring environment where we always put our patients’ needs first. We staff our facilities with experienced orthopedic surgeons and orthopedic physician associate capable of treating all types of orthopedic injuries. We will take care of all your orthopedic needs, including sprains, strains, and fractures. For fast, expert treatment, you won’t find any better.

Experienced orthopedic surgeons and orthopedic physician associate staff our new Urgent Care facility in Vernon. The team is capable of treating all types of orthopedic injuries. Under the direction of our Clinical Director, Michael Harris, PA-C, our facility provides specialized, high-quality and immediate orthopedics care, offering a full range of services and treatment capabilities.

Michael Harris, MS, PA-C
Director Clinical Operations

Michael Harris attended Springfield College graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Biology in 2009 and Suma Cum Laude with a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies in 2013. He has been practicing in orthopedic surgery since 2013.
He has also been a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants since 2013 and assists with precepting physician assistant students in their orthopedic elective rotations. He is passionate about all aspects of orthopedics; however, he has keen interests in hand and upper extremity surgery, joint replacement, trauma surgery, and orthopedic oncology.

Enfield Urgent Care

Joe is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedic injuries. With over 29 years of experience, Joe joined Advanced Orthopedics New England in 2022, working along Dr. Kimmel and Dr. Grosso. He is also the lead at our Enfield Urgent Care, seeing a variety of new and established patients with orthopedics injuries.
Joe is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is a graduate of the State University of New York.

Onsite Assessment and Treatment

As part of our commitment to providing specialized, quality, and quick orthopedic care to our acutely injured patients, our facility offers a full range of services and treatment capabilities. Our Specialists can take and access digital X-rays immediately for review, diagnosis, and treatment plan development. Treatment may include casting, application of braces, slings, and crutches, which the staff provides at the time of your visit.  Surgeries with one of our specialty surgeons will be scheduled separately if necessary.
