Dr. David Kruger is an orthopedic spinal surgeon with Advanced Orthopedics New England. He is an attending physician at St. Francis Hospital, Medical Director of the Spine Institute of Connecticut, and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Kruger received his doctorate in medicine at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and completed his postgraduate training at the Henry Ford Hospital and the University of Michigan, Biomechanics, Trauma, and Sports Medicine Laboratory. He completed his spinal surgery fellowship at the State University of New York, Health Science Center. Dr. Kruger is a specialist in spinal surgery.

Physician Associate– Jessica Temple, PA-C
Jessica Temple is a certified Physician Assistant working with Dr. Kruger since 2019, evaluating and treating disorders of the spine.
She relocated from Kentucky where she worked for an orthopedic spine practice, specializing in post-operative spine care, and managing orthopedic spine disorders in the hospital setting. Jessica is passionate about educating her patients on their conditions and treatment options so they can be more active participants in their recovery.
She graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She attended Stony Brook University’s Physician Assistant Program and graduated with honors in 2013 with a Master of Science degree. Jessica is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants and is licensed by the State of Connecticut.
